Aston is a small village on the out-skirts of Stevenage, which in turn is about 20 miles North of London along the A1(M).
We play friendly village matches on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyment is the name of the game. No matter what the result you will always find the majority of the team and opposition down the local after the game, and sometimes before, sharing a drink together.
The team varies from the old and 'getting past it' to the young enthusiastic newcomers who break into the team through the colts set-up!
We have a very healthy group of colts for such a small village, who are taken every Sunday morning in the Summer for practice by two enthusiastic senior members of the club. We also give the Colts as many matches as possible with them playing 6 this year and are keen to promote them into the senior set-up as soon as possible to aid their development.
